HARRISBURG – A public hearing conducted by the House Majority Policy Committee that had been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Carbon County has been postponed, Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) announced today. The hearing was to focus on issues related to the ongoing reevaluation study of the Francis E. Walter Dam and Reservoir by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
