WHAT: The House Majority Policy Committee, chaired by Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest), will travel to Beaver County to welcome U.S. Department of Energy’s Under Secretary Mark Wesley Menezes for a roundtable discussion about energy issues in Pennsylvania.
WHO: Menezes, Oberlander, Speaker of the House Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) and members of the House Majority Policy Committee. Other attendees will comprise those from the energy industry, including officials from Range Resources, Marathon Petroleum Company LP, Marcellus Shale Coalition, PennEnergy Resources and the Pennsylvania Chemical Industry Council.
WHEN: Thursday, May 16, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: Commissioners’ Conference Room, Beaver County Courthouse, 810 Third St., Beaver. Parking is available, at no charge, at a garage adjacent to the courthouse.
