Bonner, Wentling to Host House Majority Policy Committee Hearing Regarding Pennsylvania’s EMS Crisis

WHAT:    Reps. Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler) and Parke Wentling (R-Mercer/Crawford/Erie/Lawrence) will host the House Majority Policy Committee for a hearing on the EMS crisis Pennsylvania is facing. The committee will receive testimony concerning funding problems, staffing shortages, delayed response times, quality of care issues and the future path of the ambulance service in Pennsylvania. 

WHO:    Bonner; Wentling; Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter), policy committee chairman; members of the House Majority Policy Committee; and the following testifiers:

Douglas Dick, EMS chief, Superior Ambulance Service.
John Libonati, county coroner, Mercer County.
Frank Jannetti, public safety director, Mercer County.
John Chlpka, council president, Jackson Center Borough.
David Tupponce, president, Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Grove City.
Aaron Rhone, bureau director, Pennsylvania Department of Health Bureau of EMS.
